Today is National Empanada Day. If you've never had one of these delicious pillows of deliciousness, today should be the day you find one. They often contain chicken, beef, and/or cheese with mild spices in a dough crust. They originated in the Americas and Spain, and have become popular enough to have made their way to the Food Truck circuit. And we're glad about that!
On to more mindful subjects, we're watching the weather closely this year. It's been predicted this is apt to be another active hurricane season. It's snowing up North today, which is not what the Northerners are fond of but happens occasionally. There is a lot of talk about chemtrails and weather manipulation. It's openly discussed they do put things into our atmosphere en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_seeding, but it's worth a look to know what else they are putting into the atmosphere and why. As always, it's good to research these things yourself and decide what's accurate. Speaking of accuracy, conspiracy theories are running amuck right now. Most every conspiracy is based on at least a fraction of truth, but misinformation and disinformation have been a tactic used for millennia. With each new form of media that's come into our lives with the advent of the daily newspaper, the radio, TV, and now social media, folks find new ways of communicating. Watching the evolution of these will lend some history on how we evolve in our lives and conciousness. www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2016/01/how-teddy-roosevelt-invented-spin/426699/ No, the age of misinformation did not start with us! Be extra vigilant with what you believe, please research before forwarding anything, and learn to trust your intuition! Your intuition is a marvelous, wonderful talent that we ALL have. It's not magic. We learn about our 5 senses in school, and are never taught about how reliable and useful our intuition is. www.psychologytoday.com/us/basics/intuition Happy Sunday everyone, know you are Loved.
