Based on Dr. Gary Chapman’s book “The Five Love Languages – The Secret to Love That Lasts”, this experiential workshop takes the approach that finding and appreciating your own love language is just as valuable as knowing your partner’s. Understanding what you need to fill your “love tank” will help improve all of your relationships, including partners, family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances. In this workshop, you will learn the love language basics, why they are important, and how to apply them in your life. Each participant will complete the Love Language Profile to determine their own love language, followed by a round-table discussion of each language. Finally, we will talk about how to use your new knowledge to help those you love to love you better.
Becky Bolt is a retired wildlife ecologist, co-facilitator of The Way Through emotional breakthrough workshop, and co-facilitator of the People of Diversity spiritual community. She became interested and studied “The Five Love Languages” several years ago and began sharing its concepts, first with her family and then in community workshops.
